OUR RULES

Respect your fellow vanillacrafters 📎

• We shouldn't need to clarify what being respectful means.
• Don't overstep other players' boundaries, especially if they have explicitly told you not to.
• Any form of discrimination against players will result in a ban. Everybody is equal here.
• If a player tells you not to say something, don't say it.
• If you can't respect people for who they are, you have no place in our server.

Don't damage players' builds 📎

• Any sort of griefing isn't tolerated here.
• Breaking any block somebody else placed is griefing (within reason).
• Setting fires, explosions, 'accidentally' destroying something someone worked hard on, is included.
• Did someone damage your base? Speak to them about it, or ask staff to roll it back in a ticket!
• Please do let us know if your build is damaged.

Don't steal from shops or bases 📎

• Items in a shop are sold for a specific price. So don't take items without paying!
• Underpaying in shops is the same. Please don't do it.
• It's not just shops: stealing from others' bases isn't allowed - this isn't anarchy - we're friendly here!
• If you think we won't notice... we will ;)
• Think you've been stolen from? Make a stealing ticket and we'll investigate and get you your stuff back!

PVP is optional 📎

• We have a consent system to PVP on Vanillacraft.
• If you and a friend agree to PVP - go ahead!
• However, please do not attack other players if they have not given you permission.
• We do enforce this - if you repeatedly attack other players without permission, we may take action.
• Again though, if another player is annoying you - let us know and we'll sort it out!

What sort of mods are OK? 📎

• Most mods are fine on Vanillacraft!

Fullbright, freecam, Xaero's minimap and performance mods like Sodium are all mods we recommend!

However, we don't allow 'cheat' mods giving an advantage, like:

• Hacked clients, xray (including texture packs), and others.
• Litematica is allowed, except for the 'printer' mode.
• We do frequently monitor if people are using cheats, and have anticheat software to make sure the server is fair for everyone!

Keeping the chat clean 📎

• We don't allow excessive swearing in Minecraft and Discord chat. We won't take action against occasional bad language, but ideally, just don't use negative words :)
• Any sort of NSFW messages or content is strictly forbidden, and will result in a ban from the discord and minecraft server.
• This is not the place for political discussion and debates.
• Sharing experiences which were shaped by societal issues is not itself politics. Discussing that here could help people.

Advertising 📎

• Vanillacraft isn't a place to advertise anything, really.
• However, if you are a long-term member of the server, we have a #advertising discord channel - you can apply to post there by making a ticket.
• Other than specifically in that channel, advertising is not allowed, which includes promotion of other servers, paid or unpaid services, etc. Make a ticket if you're unsure!
• Any DM advertising will result in an instant permanent ban.

Invite your friends! 📎

• It's the best way we can grow the server!
• Also, having a friend to play along with you on the server is always more fun than playing alone (even if you're meeting new people).
• Also, look out for the events we host! They're often a great way to meet new people and find common interests.
• And if you are playing alone - we hope you find someone here who shares your interests and you can get to know them!
